Hi Holly
I just noticed in your profile that you have a cockapoo...are you happy with it? I am looking a a dog to join our little clan...my daughter is 8...

Swati
ps I just read the story below too about your daughter going to school...I will be a mess...

Hi Swati: We ADORE our cockapoo, but I'd be lying if I didn't warn you that adding a dog to the family is a LOT of work in the beginning and a LOT of money!

But if that doesn't scare you, then a cockapoo is a nice family dog. I must additionally confess, however, that ours is particularly high maintenance. He is allergic to everything and we even have to give him allergy shots!! But...he's worth it. ;o)

Hi Holly - thanks for that...I am a bit worried about the added work...but I always had a dog growing up and really miss having one; they become little members of the family with big personalities! Glad you love your doggie :-).

I can relate to the feeling of your daughter leaving home. Only one more year until my daughter leaves and of course she wants to go to school eight hours away.
