Stories about travel, life, writing and parenting my college-age children (who think they don't need any more parenting). Oh! And the occasional amazing photograph (I like to play pro photographer on vacations.)
We could all learn a little something from Helen Keller.
Amazing inner strength!I wondered at first if she could really miss what she never really knew. If you didn't know sight and sound, could you miss it with anything more than a vague sense of loss? Still, the obstacles she overcame, knowing they were there solely for her, must have been overwhelming. I love sudden flashes of perspective. Makes me so grateful!
