Stories about travel, life, writing and parenting my college-age children (who think they don't need any more parenting). Oh! And the occasional amazing photograph (I like to play pro photographer on vacations.)
Quote of the Week
"A mind troubled by doubt cannot focus on the course to
victory."
How about a mind that's turned to mushy swiss cheese? ;} That's my mind and I can't focus on anything at all.
I'm feeling totally swamped this month, but wanted to stop by to wish you a very lovely Christmas before the whole month slips by. Enjoy your time with your family and hope you'll get some rest between all the festivities!
Hmmm...I would say my brain is more like thick pea soup--that's gone cold! I can totally relate Teresa!
Thanks for making time to swing by the ol' blog, and I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas as well! Be sure to put your feet up at least once over the holidays! :o)
I need to post that on my forehead, write it on my hand, hang it on a mirror, use it as my desktop... all of the above, it has to remind me to stop the doubt. That's what is happening: I'm getting in my own way on the course to victory! Sigh... Wow. You've given me a lot to think about today. :-)
Glad I could be of some inspirational assistance, Petula! I think so many of us struggle with doubt, especially those of us working in the relatively solitary field of writing. (Although, my cockapoo office companion seems encouraging over any of my writing efforts I share with him. ;o)

So true! Although that guy looks like maybe he's got something real to worry about! :)
That's a good point.
Ha, ha! :o)
Sorry, the "Ha, ha!" was meant for Heidi! But to Nancy, I say "thank you!" ;o) Sometimes it's hard not to let doubt (or worry!) get in the way!
