Stories about travel, life, writing and parenting my college-age children (who think they don't need any more parenting). Oh! And the occasional amazing photograph (I like to play pro photographer on vacations.)
Ah so true! Last week I found myself in a terrible mood, running errands, and I felt like a schizo. Grumble in the car, then suddenly smiley and friendly to the clerks. I figured just because I was having a bad day didn't mean they needed to also. I gave myself half credit for that. :)
A truer statement has never been said. :} It's hard to smile through any hardships, but I do, like Heidi above, try to be nice to people regardless. My poor family get the brunt of my grumpiness. ;)

A great quote and a great thought.
